How Alfred Works
Think of Alfred as a smart assistant with a toolbox. When you ask for something, Alfred's AI brain figures out the best tool for the job. It can search the web, generate an image, or just chat. Beyond simply picking a tool, Alfred also taps into its long-term memory of your past conversations to give you smarter, more relevant answers. It learns from your conversations to give you a more personalized experience over time.
Base AI Models
Alfred's intelligence is powered by different base models tailored to your needs. You can switch

Core Features & Commands
Alfred's Long-Term Memory (RAG)
Ever feel like you have to repeat yourself to a bot? Not with Alfred. He uses a special system called Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to remember your past conversations. When you chat, Alfred intelligently searches your history for relevant context and uses it to provide smarter, more personalized answers. It's like having a conversation with a friend who actually remembers what you've talked about.
- Automatic Context: Alfred automatically uses this memory in every conversation.

Troubleshooting & FAQ
Having trouble? Here are some common questions and answers.
- Why isn't Alfred responding?
- Make sure Alfred has permission to read and send messages in the channel.
- Check the server's trigger word in
/server-settings. - You might be on a cooldown for sending messages too quickly.
- Why did I get an "interaction failed" error? This usually means Alfred is thinking and took a little too long to respond. Try your request again in a few moments.
- How do I use the right-click commands (like Summarize or Reimagine)? On desktop, right-click a message or image. On mobile, tap and hold the message, then find the "Apps" option in the menu that appears.
